The Jack Lee Trophy was held at the Erina Ice World Rink, you guessed it ,up in Erina
. This event was for skaters from Preliminary level up to seniors and included dance. Many of our skater families convoyed their way up to Erina for this event. Although this competition was to start at 3.3opm it didnt get off the ground till around 4.15pm. First presentation was to be a 6pm, but didnt happen till 7.30pm. So it turned out to be a longer night than we first thought.The competition was meant to conclude at 9pm, will let you know when I have details the exact time it finished along with presentations:

This event held in Canberra was a fun event for all skaters. Skaters dress up and play out the role of their music. There are cats, lions, clowns , genies, showgirls, farmgirls , janes, and an all time classic "puttin on the ritz" artistic skate.We have even seen Miss Piggy and the Maddest of all Hatters. Artistic skating isnt intended to be all about the Technical side of skating but how one can become the character of the song and portray it on the ice. Our skaters that competed did well once again.

NATIONAL FEDERATION CHALLENGE 2OTH AUGUST 2011
LCCFSS competitors represented our club at both the National Federation Challeng and the Reg Park Artistic. We had many of our skaters participate in this weekend competition. Unfortunately due to a restriction of ice time availability a few of our LCCFSS skaters were wait listed and missed out in competing at the National Federation Challenge.However, the competition resulted with once again many of our skaters taking out podium positions. The PIPT held on 2nd July 2011 commmenced at 5pm. What a long night it was for a lot of the skaters and parents. It was very cold as well.
